Game modes

Objective Mode: This is the standard game mode. Teams must complete a series of specific objectives on the map to win. These objectives can include things like constructing a bridge, destroying a barricade, stealing an important document, or escorting a tank. A team wins by completing all the primary objectives within the given time limit.

Campaign Mode: A variation of Objective Mode where players compete across a series of related maps. A player’s rank and skills are persistent and carry over from one map to the next throughout the campaign. This allows for a sense of progression over multiple rounds of play.

Stopwatch Mode: In this mode, teams take turns attacking and defending. The attacking team’s goal is to complete all objectives in the shortest time possible. Once the round is over, the teams switch sides. The new attacking team must then beat the time of the previous team to win.

Last Man Standing (LMS): This is a round-based mode where the goal is to eliminate the opposing team. Players only have one life per round, and there are no respawns. There are no objectives or skill points; the only goal is to be the last player or team alive.

Game modes

Team Deathmatch (TDM): The most common multiplayer mode. Two teams compete to get a certain number of kills to win the match. This mode is all about pure gunplay and teamwork to out-frag the enemy team.

Deathmatch (DM): A free-for-all mode where every player is on their own. The goal is to get the most kills before the time limit expires. It’s a fast and chaotic mode that tests individual skill.

Arms Race: A progression-based mode where players advance through a series of weapons as they get kills. The first player to get a kill with the final weapon wins the match.

Search and Destroy (S&D): A classic tactical mode. One team is tasked with planting a bomb at one of two sites, while the other team must defend those sites. Players only have one life per round, making it a high-stakes, strategic mode.

Combat Zone / Battle Royale: Combat Master also features a Battle Royale-like mode, sometimes referred to as “Combat Zone” or “Blitz Battle Royale.” In this mode, players drop onto a large map, scavenge for weapons and gear, and fight to be the last one standing as the playable area shrinks.

Shootout (Free-For-All Deathmatch): This is the classic “every-man-for-himself” deathmatch mode. Players battle it out individually to get the highest score within a time limit. It’s known for its fast-paced and chaotic action.

Team Deathmatch: Similar to Shootout, but players are divided into teams (typically up to four, such as Desperados, Vigilantes, Rangers, and Banditos). The objective is to outscore the opposing team by eliminating their players.

Objective-Based Modes (Teamplay): Fistful of Frags features several objective-based modes that require teamwork and coordination. These can include:

Fistful of Dollars/Few Dollars More: In these modes, teams compete to collect loot (cash) to reach a specific target amount to win. This involves securing loot carriers and stealing from the enemy.

Territorial Control: Teams fight to capture and hold specific areas on the map.

Train Robbery/Push the Cart: These modes involve objective-driven gameplay where teams must either attack or defend a moving target (like a train or cart).

Cooperative (Co-op) Missions: These modes allow players to team up (up to 6 or 8 players) to tackle AI-controlled enemies in various scenarios. Common co-op missions include:

Grand Elimination (Battle Royale-like): This mode offers a fast-paced experience similar to a Battle Royale, where players are eliminated until only one remains or one team is victorious.

Break Bad: A unique team-based deathmatch mode with custom rules. In some variations, players might start unarmed and gradually acquire weapons over time, or there might be specific objectives to achieve.

Team Elimination: Players must eliminate the entire enemy team to win a round.

Versus (1v1 Duels): This mode focuses on one-on-one combat, often with specific rules or maps designed for duels, emphasizing pure skill and accuracy.

Singleplayer Challenges/Missions: For players who want to practice or experience the game’s mechanics solo, there are singleplayer missions that can help players master skills before jumping into multiplayer.

Bots: The game also supports multiplayer bots, allowing players to practice and fill empty server slots for a more complete experience even with fewer human players.
